Our company
SPP places targeted investments in independent companies and projects in the global market.
Swiss Private Placement AG follows a diversified investment approach with the overarching goal of sustainable, long-term value enhancement of our direct and indirect investments. To reach this goal, we invest in the private market asset classes of real estate, private equity, private debt and structured products. This involves allocating capital to direct investments and co-investments as well as direct growth opportunities.
Global
Given the current global economic momentum, we follow the «geo-arbitrage» approach, which involves combining the advantages of each individual market.
Conventional approach
To complete our investment approach, we invest in gold, silver and raw materials needed in the future such as nickel and copper.
Products
The companies in which we invest participate in the following market segments:

1. Real estate investments
Real estate is a classic investment that can withstand financial crises and hard times. Land has always been and is still a valuable asset. For years now, we have been witnessing exceptionally high prices in real estate trading, bolstered by a sustained increase in demand.
Real estate in regions with limited building space and advantageous overall conditions does not lose value – in fact, quite the contrary. When investing in real estate, investors can be sure that their assets will retain their value. This explains the well-known phrase: «tangible assets beat financial assets». In order to achieve successful real estate investments, the underlying data and risk profiles must be prepared realistically and implemented precisely. Our specialists take into account macroeconomic factors and developments in the real estate sector.
Our investment strategy analyzes both the Swiss and the international real estate market. The best and most sustainable investments from all markets are therefore available to choose from.

2. Private Equity
We follow a medium-term diversification strategy by buying, selling and consolidating companies from various industries and regions. Private equity investments allow for greater influence over a company’s management and strategic direction to ensure investors' objectives are met.
The long-term nature of these investments encourages the alignment of investor and management interests, which can lead to better outcomes.
This means potentially higher investment returns over the long term as investments are made in less liquid assets.

3. Private Debt
We have the opportunity to participate in various short-term financing options through our investments.
Private debt refers to debt financing instruments provided primarily by private-sector institutional investors outside of the banking sector. These are typically illiquid, privately placed, unrated debt instruments that are not represented by securities. We have the opportunity to participate in various short-term financing options through our investments.

4. Structured products
Due to our specialized access to issuing companies, we are able to access exclusive products that are not dependent on the stock market.
Structured investment products are often also referred to as “certificates” or “derivatives”. These types of investment are based on underlying assets such as shares, foreign currencies, raw materials, interest rates or funds, or so-called derivatives. Structured products are flexible financial instruments that can be traded at any time and are often used to enhance modern portfolios. Due to the many possible variations, the products can be structured to fit virtually any risk profile or market expectation.
