2.1 General

We are committed to a customer-friendly approach to your personal data and treat it as strictly confidential. «Personal data» are all personal details and information about you. This includes, in particular, contact data such as first and last names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and dates of birth. We process personal data by obtaining, maintaining, storing and archiving it. Our data protection regulations are directed at all persons who come into contact with the Swiss Private Placement AG. This includes interested parties, clients and employees of partner companies. We may amend our data protection provisions at any time.

We are entitled to process personal data that is disclosed to us, that is publicly accessible or that can be obtained from third parties. This includes in particular contact data, financial data, contractual data and marketing data.

We process your personal data in compliance with the relevant provisions of data protection law:

We process your data insofar as you have consented to this.
We process your data in order to fulfil the service you have requested.
We process your data if required to do so by law and/or regulation.

We obtain only as little personal data as necessary and treat it as strictly confidential. We do our utmost to protect it from loss or misuse at all times by constantly reviewing the technical and organisational measures and adapting them to the high requirements. The protection corresponds to the latest state of the art.

2.5. Disclosure of personal data at home and abroad

We comply with the confidentiality obligations laid down in data protection law and other provisions. These obligations apply to all Swiss Private Placement AG employees as well as to persons who are involved as partners in the fulfilment of an order. Personal data can only be accessed by those who are authorised to do so. If you agree, we may also pass on your personal data to partner companies in connection with the provision of our services. Persons who are called in as partners to fulfil an order are obliged to sign a confidentiality agreement with us and to guarantee data security. The confidentiality agreement then authorises them to process your personal data as necessary. We will only disclose your personal data abroad if you request us to do so in order to protect legitimate interests or to comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements. When disclosing personal data abroad, we cannot guarantee that the country in question has adequate data protection, that appropriate data protection is ensured in some other way or that there is a legal basis for doing so.

2.6. Storage Period 

We are obliged to retain your personal data for the duration of the business relationship and ten years beyond. After termination of the business relationship, all data will be archived and stored in electronic form.

2.7. Rights

You have the right to inspect the personal data we hold about you at any time. If you request us to correct and/or delete your personal data, we will proceed accordingly. Data that is mandatory for legal/regulatory purposes is not affected by deletion. A revocation of the processing of your personal data will only be applied to future processing. Data that has been processed prior to this is not affected by the revocation.

3. Use of personal data

Your personal data will be used exclusively to send information. All data entered will be treated as confidential by Swiss Private Placement AG and will not be passed on to third parties. You can our access web pages without having to provide any information about yourself.

7. Services of third parties

We use Google Maps to display maps (legal basis pursuant to GDPR: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f, with the operation of our website and information security as legitimate interests). These services of American Google LLC use, inter alia, cookies, and data is transferred to Google in the USA, where we assume no personal tracking takes place within this framework. Google has undertaken to ensure adequate data protection in accordance with the American-European and American-Swiss Privacy Shield. 8. Web analysis services

We employ web analysis services to analyse the use of the website in general and to obtain indications for improvement of our offers. The web analysis services use cookies to collect data. The information generated in the process (e.g., IP address and browser type) can be transferred, in an anonymous form, to a server of the web analysis service in Switzerland or abroad and be saved and processed there. 9. Right to cancel

If you request Swiss Private Placement AG not to use your personal data for further contact and/or to cancel it, this will be complied with. Data absolutely required for commercial purposes will not be affected by cancellation or deletion.
